Introduction to AEC Optical Shops
Advanced Eye Centers, Inc has an optical shop located at each of our locations: Dartmouth, Fall River, New Bedford, and Taunton. Our optical shops are managed by Donna Pires, RDO. The optical shop staff has a combined total of over 150 years of Optical Shop experience, with the newest member who started training this year to our most experienced individual who has over 23 years in the business. The average number of years of experience is approximately 15. This experience means you will receive the best technical service in the optical shop industry. We are also proud that amongst our staff members we have Frame Stylists, Apprentice Opticians and Registered, Licensed Opticians. Frame Stylists are trained in matching eyeglass frames to your facial features, hair color, skin tone, Apprentice Opticians possess the same skills and are undergoing intensive optical training. Our Registered, Licensed Opticians are licensed in this state to provide the full scope of Opticianry.
All our staff members rotate among the 4 optical shop locations, with each having a primary location. We are pleased to introduce you to our staff:
Optical Shop Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM to Noon
We are co-located with all our Advanced Eye Centers’ doctor offices.
